"The Song Cycle" was nominated for a
DueCredit Award
in the "Best Fraser/Ray V. Story" Category. "Last Night of the World" was nominated separately for
"Best Slash NC-17 Story". "First Time" (further down the page) was nominated in both "Best Romance"
and "Best Slash NC-17 Story", and I was nominated for "Best Author"! Wow... pretty cool, huh? :-))) |

The Song Cycle
Hey, it _really_ needed a name already ;-)
- #1 How Am I Supposed to Live
Without You?
An angsty monologue Song Challenge, basically M/M in theme, but no action,
leaving it at I guess a PG rating. It's a downer, the "h" of the h/c, but it ain't over
yet....
- #2 The Beat Of A Different
Drum
A sequel to the above, but probably can be read alone. PG-rated M/M again. Benny's
turn this time-- more of a resolution, but not much.
- #3 On My Own
Sequel to the above. PG-rated M/M again. What could be better
than watching them angst one at a time? How about both together? <vwg>
Cliff-hanger-from-hell at the end-- so I did the next part within 24
hours to save my own skin.
- #4 Blue Moon
Sequel to the above. PG-rated M/M. _Finally_! Resolution, I promise. Angst gives
way to happiness,
hurt to comfort, and all is right with the world. *The End*!
...so why are they still here in my head...?
- #5 Living in the Real
World
Sequel to the above. O.K., if you like your Happily-Ever-Afters nice and
neat and fading out on that sunrise by the lake, go away now and read no more,
my child. <g> PG-rated M/M. Happiness gives way to a dose of reality...
- #6 Clutching at a Dream
Sequel to the above. PG-rated M/M. Well if you went for "Living in the Real
World," you'll need to keep going by now, I suspect... <vwg> You know what Benny
thinks Ray's thinking... is he right? (What do _you_ think? ;-)
- #7 Libera Me
Sequel to the above. PG-rated M/M (by reference only). The boys take a break while
Ma Vecchio has her moment.
#8 Last Night of the
World
Sequel to all of the above. NC-17-rated M/M Yup, this is the DSX post. They both
know it can't last, but if all they can have is this one night together....
[Last Night of the World-- DIEF Version--
This is the cut (~1/2 length), R-rated, DIEF-list version.]
- #9 What I Did For Love
Sequel to all of the above. (We've even got a name for them now!) Back to the PG-rated
M/M angst. The next morning....
- #10 Angel of the Morning
[We're in *double-digits*??? Somebody shoot me... <sigh>]
Sequel to all of the above. PG-rated M/M angst. The next morning... from the other side.
- #11 Matchmaker, Matchmaker
Sequel to all of the above. PG-rated M/M angst. Mama takes things into her own hands...
<vwg>
- #12 Finis
Sequel to all of the above. PG-rated M/M angst. The wrap-up. The end...
(at least until they start at me again! ;-)
A note on the songs...
Stand-Alones
- Interpretations
Just got to watch "The Blue Line" and realized I bloopered in this one, Fraser
apparently already knows how to sign. Or maybe he just _understands_ it... *yeah*...
that'll work.... <vbg>)
Mukluks Featured in a
Corner...
I was recently (and inadvertently) reminded that my first ever DS fic was actually
posted to DSX last summer. It's a little R-rated M/M FK/DS Crossover joke... (Consider
yourself warned!)
- Bennie, The Red-Clad
Mountie
I stand by my original intro on this: "Oh Goddess. I am *sooooooooo* sick.
I am _such_ a sick puppy!" Evidence of what too much holiday stress and sugar can
do to an otherwise quite sane person....
First Time
A DSX quickie that came to me while working on the Song Cycle. R-rated M/M.
Truth or Dare: The Round
Robin
Yup, there I am doing Part #2 [and we're already working on the next one, I just did #3 of that!].
Dyevka's posting
them on her page as they're written. R-rated M/M (not in my part, but we do get there, eventually ;-).
The Second Round Robin (unfinished)
Did Part #3 on this one (talk about your killer hand-offs too! :-p).
Dyevka's posting them on her page more-or-less as they're written. R-rated
M/M (again-- not in my part, but we do get there, eventually ;-).
- The Partytime, Giggling, Weaving, Babbling, Dizzy, Muddle-Headed,
Fevered, So You Can Snicker Mountie
An insane little bit of silliness on the theme of "What would happen if
you got Benny really, really, *really* drunk???" Sorry! I've promised it
to Celeste
for her That's Just Silly Zine.
- Box of All Things Precious: Broken Compass
Fraser reminisces about a poignant moment in his youth. (This was part of a invitational challenge offered by Karen Ransdell.)
(Look out everyone. My Muse is back and she's on speed... ;-)
